Took the course I was so pleasantly surprised in how my instructor Rob went out of his way to make sure everything was explained until everyone in class understood properly great training for people of all levels of motorcycle experience.

Had the best 2 day experience with Austin Moto Academy in Buda. Rob, the instructor, was truly passionate about riding and teaching and did a wonderful job! He was engaging, fun to learn from, but also stuck to the well-planned curriculum. The objectives were clear and it was tons of fun learning to ride even though I had no previous experience. At the end of the second day, I met Miles, the owner. He was enthusiastic, approachable, and had a contagious excitement talking about all the different motorcycles they had rescued and were adding to the fleet. The facility is purpose made for learning to ride and was excellent. There are a good variety of motorcycles you’ll have an opportunity to ride, which added to the enjoyment.

One word of advice: once you confirm a date for the class, book an appointment to get your license. Otherwise you will be excited to ride but have to wait until you can get your motorcycle endorsement added to your existing license- which could potentially take weeks or months.

I absolutely loved this place, already wishing I could go back. I have nothing to compare it to however, Austin Moto Academy made my learning experience worth being out in the rain and cold. My instructor Rob did a wonderful job taking us through every possible scenario with a great story to tell. He truly cared about each rider remembering everyones name, learning about one another, and making sure we would feel welcome into the motorcycle community. If you need, want, or are even curious about getting your motorcycle license I would not overlook Austin Moto Academy. They've got a variety of motorcycles, custom painted courses (not a parking lot), and the best instructors, I highly recommend Rob!

A huge shoutout to Instructor Vince! He’s incredibly talented, funny, and always respectful and approachable. His teaching style is exceptional, making even the trickiest concepts, like clutch and throttle control, easy to grasp. He brings so much energy to his lessons, making them fun and engaging, and he genuinely connects with his students, even during breaks. If you have the chance to take his class, don’t hesitate—you’ll learn a lot and have a great time. He’s an outstanding instructor!

Highly recommend Rob as an instructor. He was clear in his directions and took a varied class of some with no riding experience to those with riding experience and just wanting a license -to all being able to ride and navigate the skills. He is very patient and could identify problems and coach solutions. Rob has a lifetime of experience riding different bikes, and he is a great teacher. I enjoyed the class and would come back for the next class to continue to improve my riding skills.

Signed up for the MSF course after obtaining my Honda Shadow Aero and didnt know what to expect. I had a small class and Rob was our instructor, he was nothing short of amazing! He is a very knowledgeable individual that really can see what you're struggling with and provide quick and effective tips to help you succeed. I feel incredibly comfortable and confident when riding thanks to him.

Best beginner friendly riding school I've ever taken!

I took this over Total Rider and Riding Academy at Harley Davidson because the schedule was flexible. This school allowed you to skip the in-class session by taking eCourse and bringing the certificate on the first day of riding class.

The instructor, Rob, was pretty chill and open-minded. He taught everyone with patience every time we made mistakes. He also shared his motorcycle journey with us, which I listened to as a lesson.

Long story short, everyone in class passed the test! He went over the courses to make sure everyone understand the instructions.

If you're looking for a riding academy to get a motorcycle endorsement, this is the place for you. And make sure you practice your balance, brake, and clutch skills with your bicycle before you enroll in the class. It will help you ride a motorcycle (I'm dead serious).

Vince is such a fantastic instructor and I only have positive things to say about our experience! My sister and I signed up for the Basic Riders Course with zero motorcycle experience. By the end of the 2 day course and lots of “hands on” drills on the motorcycles, we felt SO much more confident in our driving abilities.
Vince always gave great feedback and never “mansplained” anything to us which I really appreciated. Great guy, great class and SO much fun learning a new skill.

Had a fantastic experience taking the Basic Rider course this past weekend. Our instructor, Rob, was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and supportive - all traits that were on display the entire weekend. His encouragement was exactly what was needed as everyone in the class was struggling through learning a new skill (myself included!).

Rob made the both the written and riding portions of the class engaging through examples, demonstrations, and personal anecdotes. His passion for motorcycles is palpable and it makes the class that much more enjoyable. We had varying skill levels in my class of eight, and everyone learned something and became a stronger rider. This (new) location was a great environment to learn in, too. It's easy to find if you are in the general area (I was nervous I may miss it since Google Maps is a bit off). It is basically the only large, paved area around (attached a picture just in case it helps for triangulating). It was a great space to learn, without being bothered by cars or other distractions. Would highly recommend the Austin Moto Academy + Rob!
